Why I Coach

I've spent my career inside technology - building the products, watching how they're designed to hold your attention and keep you coming back. They're very good at it. I know, because I've lost plenty of evenings to the scroll myself.

The notifications never stop. There's always one more feed, one more episode, one more refresh - and a quiet sense afterwards that the time went somewhere you didn't choose. It's not a willpower problem. These tools reach straight for something real: boredom, stress, loneliness, the wish to feel like you're getting somewhere.

What actually helped me wasn't another blocker app or a cold-turkey detox. It was understanding what the screen was doing for me, and slowly building a life that could offer those same things - calm, connection, real progress - without the hook.

That's the work I do now: helping you take back your attention and your evenings, on your terms, without the shame.

How I Actually Work With This

We don't start with willpower or a detox. We get curious about what the screen is really doing for you - the boredom it fills, the anxiety it quiets, the sense of progress or belonging it hands you - and then we build a real life that can offer those things too. We rebuild focus and follow-through, turn vague goals into next steps you can actually take, and reshape the cues around you so the pull gets weaker. The habit loosens when the need underneath it finally gets met.

This isn't therapy (we won't dig into your past) or consulting (I won't hand you a plan to follow). And it's not about quitting technology - it's about it working for you again.
